AT&T came out yesterday and I think they finally have fixed our internet. For the last few months, it shows that we are connected but you can not actually get on the internet. They finally decided it was our router. They completely cancelled our service and set up new service with a new router and a new number. As of right now, its working. But we are still having issues being able to pick up the wifi on our phones or xbox. It has a really weak signal or does not show up at all. I am half ready to through all routers out the window and call it good. =)

But, the calmer side of me would like to download pictures from Keagan's party and I cannot upload them without internet. So, I will mess with again tonight and see what I can do. In the mean time, I will leave you with a picture of little buddy. =)

Can't believe my little munchkin is 4 years old! How fast the last 4 years have gone by. Keagan Jade, you are such a little sweetheart. Everything about you is sugar and spice, and everything nice. She is the best kiddo ever, always calm and polite. Loves loves loves to give away kisses, uses please and thank you constantly. Loves to tell you she loves you, loves hugs, kisses, hand shakes, and fist pumps! She loves her bubba and her sissy. She loves to snuggle and just hang out and watch movies. She loves baby dolls and and baby animals and taking car of them. She likes to wrap them in blankets and put them night night. She also thinks she is a princess, which she is. =) And loves to dress up all the time! She loves to play te party!

She is definitely my little angel baby! We took her to eat for birthday and then went to main event with the family. Main event now has these huge tvs that you can play fruit ninja on, and the kids love fruit ninja!! We had a Princess Tea Party this weekend for her party, it was so much fun! I need to download the pics, it turned out awesome!

New things...

We had a wonderful birthday celelbration at Edohana's. Although, a funny story from dinner. My little man decided it would be a nice birthday present to pull the fire alarm and put he whole restuarant in an uproar! The loud annoying sirens only went off for about 2-3 minutes before they were able to turn them off. I'm not sure why it is only about 3 foot from the floor????? Anywho, we went to Winstar the following night and came back with an extra $550.00, woohoo!!!!!

I love love love getting new things!! And these are the new things hubby got me for my birthday! I love them both. He sure knows his way to my heart. What girl doesn't love getting puses and shoes???

Its hard to belive that in little over a week, my little princess is going to be 4 years old. I can't wait to have her party this year! We have decided to do a princess tea party this year, being that she loves playing 'tea' and thinks that she is a princess! Hopefully, it will be an event fit for a princess! Anyway, I took this picture of her yesterday morning and just fell in love all over again with her little face. So, I thought I would share!

Momma's Birthday....

I'm super excited to be getting older!!! LOL! I do however, love having my precious family to spend my birthday with. It is hard to imagine how I ever spent my time before having a family of 5! They keep my on my toes and keep me busy all day every day! Tonight, they are treating me to dinner Hibachi Style! Love love love this! If you have not tried it you definitely should. We usually go to Benihana, but have found this extremely similar and much closer place!

Daddy is also getting mommy a new purse. =) My fav! I haven't decided if I'm going with the Coach or Dooney, so I am going tomorrow to finalize my purchase since I am off for my birthday! Which means I have a 3 day weekend, woohoo!! I can't wait!!

Friday night, we are going with my friend, Jamie, to Winstar to do some birthday gambling! I am hoping we can bring home a "winner winner chicken dinner"!! Wish us luck!!

Daddy has been home because of his broken heel, and he has been sending me pics of the babies throughout the day. He has really been enjoyoing taking them to the halloween store and trying on different masks and hats and what not. I thought I would share a couple of pictures of my sweet little guys. I have been so busy over the last year, that I literally have not had anytime to blog. So, I am making it my goal to keep this updated. I have felt lost with out keeping up with it. Not only can our family see it, but it keeps a running journal of our lives for me to look back on. So, I hope to get some updates and pics on here soon!

Yeah, I'm back. I have come to conclusion that there is no way in HE** I can catch up on all I have missed so I will just have to go from here. But oh how I have missed my blog and fellow bloggers. Its a whole different world and I am sad that I got so occupied that I missed out on it. Anyway, we are all doing good. Keagan is growing like a weed, talking up a storm and cute as a button. Farren is looking like a lady, not a kid anymore, has a boyfriend, and is actually enjoying helping me out, and Deakon got his tubes in his ears, and has been on a much better eating, sleeping, and behavior pattern. Thank goodness. Momma was stressed. Also, we got our bakery open and have been busy busy busy! So far, so good. We are just hoping that it stays that way. Just wanted to do a quick update for today. And hopefully I can get some pics of my pretty babies on here. Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving and is ready for christmas!!!!!

Worst Blogger ever.....

I realize I have been pretty much the worst blogger ever. We have seriously just had so much going on. I have had at least 3-6 cakes to make every weekend for the past 2 months, which usually keeps me busy from wednesday thru saturday and sometimes sunday. Anyway, I also got a job offer for a really good opportunity that I have been debating on taking. We have been shopping around for shops and equipment to open up a bakery too. So, I have been struggling which choice to go with. Do I take the secure path or the unsecure more rewarding one for my family? Gosh, I just hate these decisions. On top of that, we had Deakon's first birthday! I can't believe my little man is one. We had a carnival theme party and it was a blast. We also had his 1 year check up where he lost a little weight to 20 pounds 8 ounces. The doctor said becuase he has passed the walking stage and is literally running everywhere. He was 30 inches in length. They checked his ears and his STILL has fluid on them, so they have referred him to an ENT for tubes. We should have an appt within the next 4 weeks. I also had to take Keagan into the doctor the same day. She woke up running a 102.4 fever. She ended up having a sinus infection and they gave my little stinker some antibiotics. But we realized bubba is really catching up with her, she weighed in at 26 pounds and measured 35 1/2 inches! They really aren't that far apart! Farren has been gone to California to visit family since the 2nd, and won't be back until the 16th. Its really weird not having her here for this long. I am definitely ready for her to come home. And Chris has been working 12 hour days, 7 days a week for the last 3 weeks, so momma has been pretty much on her own. My niece and nephew were able to come help for a couple of days, but since my niece started working they had to go back! Anyways, I have a ton of pics to upload and more to write about, but I wanted to at least touch base with my fellow bloggers!!!! Hope everyone has enjoyed there summer!!!

I thought this pic was to cute not to share. I haven't got many pictures lately, I have been horrible. But I did take BOTH kids back to the doctor friday, and Deakons ears are clear....for now....but he now has a viral infection. DAMN. THE. LUCK. Keagan has a viral infection as well. She did awesome at the doctor. Normally she hates for them to touch her. But on this day, she let them do everything they needed to. Stepped right on the scale and stood against the measuring board. What a big girl. She weighed in at 26 pounds and was 35 inches tall. Deakon weighed in at 21 pounds 3 ounces and was 32 inches tall. How big both my babies are getting. I don't think it will be long before bubba catches up with Keagan.

Well, everyone that is except for Deakon, since our Ice Cream Truck comes around at like 8:45-9 at night. Oh well, he'll be awake one of these days and will get his first ice cream. As soon as Keagan hears the music she starts saying "Ice cream, come on, lets go!" and grabbing her daddys hand to go outside. Its too cute!

I had a couple of cakes to make this past weekend. And Keagan absolutely loves loves loves to "help" me with them. As you can see by the picture below, she does alot of snacking. I give her the spoon after I'm done with the cake mix, the spatula after i'm done with the icing, and always a piece of fondant so she can feel like she is doing something. Its too cute, and I love that she loves to help momma!!!!

I need to update with Deakons 11 month, and Keagan's 2 year and 6 month post. We have been so busy. I am making three more cakes this weekend. And Keagan got bit by a spider in her ear. It was nasty and draining, so I took her to the doctor to confirm if we needed to do anything else. They gave us some steriod cream and an antibiotic cream. Poor stinker. Bubba, has ANOTHER flippin ear infection, double at that. It hasn't even been 10 days since we got rid of the last double ear infection. WHAT THE HELL?? Apparently, you have to have so many within a certain period of time before the ENT will even see you though. This is our 4th since march. Not considering that one lasted a month and took 3 antibiotics to get rid of. So, doctor said one more this YEAR, before 2011 and we are going to the ENT for tubes. We can't make it 10 days, so i'm pretty sure we won't make it 6 months. Bah! Anyways, I'll get the other updates up as soon as I can.

On a side note, just wanted everyone to send a little "Happy Birthday" up to Kyle Brent Lowe. Today would have been his 29th birthday. Needless to say, hubby is having a rough day too. My poor babies, all of them. =(

Hurricane Harbor...

This past Sunday, we decided for fathers day that we would make a trip to hurricane harbor. This was Keagans first trip here, we decided to leave Deakon at my moms since he is still a bit to young to really enjoy it there. Farren, her friends, Haley, and Stephanie went with us as well. We ended up having SO. MUCH. FUN!!!! Keagan was the best kid all day long. She played and played and played. She rode the slides in kiddy land, but wanted to ride the big ones. She is still a little to small for the big rides. Only a couple more inches until she can do some. If she couldn't ride, she still was happy to watch everyone else that did. We were pretty much non stop all day long. The big girls loved it to, we all took turns riding rides, and we all spent a good part of the day on slides and kiddieland. We decided we should get season passes so we can go more often. Keagan was so tuckered, she fell asleep at 7 when we left and did not get up until 9:45 the next morning! I was very glad to see my little man when we picked him up. I'm just not used to being away from him for that long. I love love love fun family days like this. And having an awesome daddy to my kids to celebrate fathers day with!

I have been meaning to update, I promise I have. I have been getting occassional ones in here. But my days, evenings, and weekends seem to be so packed up right now. I have been thinking of going back to work, and have been to 3 interviews in the last two weeks for that. Also, Deakon has been sick for almost a month now. Ear infection, ear infection that didn't go away, finally it did, and then tonsalitis (sp?). Anyway, I THINK he is finally on the mend, he still has a small rash, but is in a much better mood and no temp. My neice and nephew came up and stayed with us for a few days, and we have finally transitioned Keagan to the BIG GIRL potty, no more little potty and having to empty it every time she goes. Thank god for that, now we just have to get her a stool she can use to get up there by herself. Also, I've been making cakes for birthdays and baby showers. All in all, momma has been busy. In return, my blog has been neglected. Anywho, here are the cakes I did this weekend. Hope everyone is doing well!!

As of Sunday the 13th, our little man is on 2 feet! He has started walking! How cool is that? It makes me sad and happy all at the same time. Happy because it is awesome, an amazing moment in our lives. And sad because, well, he is my last baby, and that kind of puts him out of the baby stage. He has been taking one step here and there, but sunday he took off with 3 or 4. He has been doing it several times a day since. And today daddy counted out 14, I think he likes this mobility!! What a big boy we have!!!

Farren's 13th Birthday party....

Saturday, we had Farren's 13th birthday party....whoa....this momma is getting old. =( I can't believe she is in her teen years now. In just a few short years she will be graduating and going off to college. What a sad sad day, well for me at least. Anyways, we had a wonderful turnout. She got lots of stuff as well as lots and lots of money. I think she got in the ballpark of about $350.00. i don't ever remember getting that at her age. But at least you know she is loved. We had lots of family, friends, and other little teen girls over. It was loud, fun, and crazy. The perfect party. We enjoyed some punch, hot dogs, homeade fries, and chips and dip. Our cake was a huge hit, and Farren absolutely loved it and the colors. The girls had a water balloon fight, and ended up using the water hose and the bucket as well. It was so much fun watching them chase after each other and squealing when they got wet. Some of the girls have already hit "that" stage, and did not want to get wet or mess up there hair. Boo, just do it, its all in fun, I say. It WAS lots of fun until I was talking and realized they were sneaking up behind and dumped a huge bucket of water all over me. Farren said,"Its like when you win a game mom, and you dump the gatorade all over the coach. Well, your the coach mom." Awwwww, how sweet is that. I'll take water any day down the back for that. All in all, is was lots of fun. And 5 girls stayed the night after. They had lots of fun and stayed up the majority of the night. Who didn't' though at there age?

Anyways, Happy Birthday my first born child, Mommy loves you so very much!

Busy Busy...

I feel like I never have a single moment of free time lately. I've been working alot, and staying extremely busy when I'm not. Deakon started feeling yucky last week, which at first I thought was just from teething. He wasn't getting any better and started not sleeping, so I took him in on thursday and he has: 1) A double ear infection, 2) Allergies, 3) 3 teeth coming through, and 4) Sinus Infection. Poor little fella. He has been on antibiotics for 6 days now and doesn't seem much better, so I'm thinking they aren't working and we will be making a trip back soon. Dangit! We were doing so good about avoiding the doctors office. He is a big big boy though, he weighed in at 19 pounds 12 ounces, and measured 29 1/4 inches long. His head measured in at 451/2 centimeters. My big baby. =) Boys are so much different than girls. He is only about 5 pounds behind Keagan now. Big sister better watch out, or he is going to pass her up soon!! Here's to hoping my little boy feels better soon!

To top it off, I woke up Saturday with some sort of sinus infection....boo. =(

So glad its getting warmer and warmer outside. We were able to spend last sunday outside cooking out and playing in the water. Chris and Farren bought a shartk attack slip and slide, and the little ones played in a little pool we had. The slip and slide was soooo fun! Its been ages since I've been on one! I can't wait for it to be really warm and for our pool to open up. Oh summer, how I love thee!!

My niece's prom was last weekend. So, we made the trip down to Stephenville to see her off and take some pictures. She was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Her and her boyfriend made quite the pair. I can't believe she is already going to prom, it makes me sad. =( Wish I would have been with Chris longer so I could have seen her and her brother in their baby days.....

I was cleaning up dinner the other night and Chris went out front to turn the water on for our flower beds and both of the little kiddos followed behind. I realized 10 minutes had gone by and they had not come back inside. I walked outside to find Keagan playing in the water while it was watering the flower beds.....in her jambos. Daddy and Deakon were eating grass and watching, well Baby D was eating grass at least. Such a good daddy. =)

Little munchkins, I love them so much. To bad I couldn't get Farren off the computer long enough to come play. She is very much so enjoying being ungrounded. =)

Keagan is 28 months!!

Keagan Jade is already 28 months old! And right now her favorite things to do, are go outside and play with the flowers and watch for "bear-planes"(airplanes)! She just lights and gets so excited when she spots one. She will point, start yelling, and jump up and down, she repeats it over and over until she cannot see it anymore. Then she will ask where it went, its just to darn cute. Her other fav right now is mommys flowers. She loves to pick the pedals off the flower and smell them and kiss them, and then let them float away in the wind. Fun for her, not so fun for mommys flower bed. Its going to be looking pretty drab if she keeps this up.
She is still doing really well with pottying. We are wearing panties through out the day, and a pull up at night. She has been waking up dry, but I'm still too nervous to put her in panties at night. She is talking up a storm and everyday seems like she is picking up on new words. She has really started mimic us in everything we do. The other day we were at home and she could her the dogs barking at something outside, Keagan walked over to the back door and kicked it, and yelled for the dogs to stop!! Its exactly what her daddy does when they are barking at the neighbors!!! I cried I was laughing so hard!
She is such a little helper too! She is always trying to give bubba his sippy cup or bottle, or feed him a cheeto or a grape. She will get his paci and diaper for me. She loves to help me in the flower beds, and unloading the dishwasher. She even wants to help people wipe and flush the toilet when they go to the bathroom, so don't let her in with you. =)
She is going back and forth with her eating. Somedays she eats anything and everything she can get her hands on, and others she will barely eat anything. I guess as long as they even out, its all good. She is wearing 18-24 months clothing, and can fit into some 2T stuff. She is wearing a size 4 and some size 5 shoes will fit. She has finally started to fall in love with shoes!!! Thank god!!! She is also a very girlie girl, and loves to wear dresses and skirts. Her favorite shows are Mickey Mouse, Tinkerbell, Special agent OSO, Cars, and Toy Story. Anyway, she is such a little sweetie and joy to be around, I am so happy to have her in our lives!!

Catch up...

Oh how mommy needs to play catch up....very badly. I have started teaching at some of the local schools, and I am still trying to get used to not being home several days a week. Its quite an adjustment and oh how I miss my babies during the day. =( Its going well, and I have some pics to upload tomorrow and then I should be caught up. And just a reminder for myself, the things I want to write about:

-Fun in the Sun

-Summer is here!

It's so hard to think that my little baby, my last little guy, is already 9 months. Its hard to think that its time to start planning for his first birthday party. My oh my, how quickly they grow up. I've heard it before, but I will gladly say it again. They grow up so fast. Deakon is 9 months and on the move! He is everywhere. I mean everywhere. He is pulling up on stuff and cruising around it. He is pushing sisters old toy around that we just got out for him a couple of weeks ago. I cannot believe how quickly he went from sitting by himself to pulling to a standing position alone. He will walk with daddys help, or on the toy, but I'm certain its only a matter of time before its on his own. Do babies who have older siblings close in age do things faster becuase they see their brother\sister doing things? I'm coming to the conclusion this is the case. He is constantly following Keagan around, and as I look back on records from Farren and Keagan, he is doing things far ahead of them. We took him for his 9 month check up and he is weighing in at 18 pounds and 12 ounces! What a little chunker!! I didn't get his height because the nurse forgot to tell me. She did say he is "Healthy as a horse!". Thats good to know. He is wearing some 6-9 months clothing, and some 9-12 months clothing. Size 3 diaper now, just upgrading this last week. He is eating 3 meals a day, with snacks in between, and eats about 4-5 7 ounce bottles a day. He is taking two naps a day. One in the morning, and one in the afternoon. He goes to sleep around 8, usually wakes for a bottle around 4, then sleeps until anywhere between 7-8. He has said "mama" a handful of times, but consistently enough for me to count it as one of his words. His favorite baby talk right now is ga-ga-ga-ga, no clue what it is but repeats it all day, every day. He loves his big sister and following her around. He gets the biggest smile on his face when he sees her in the mornings. He loves his daddy very much too, and will follow him and stare at him until daddy gives him some good attention and play time. To cute! Anyway, I can't wait to see what the next couple of months holds for Deakon and what milestones he will hit.

I just absolutely love the fact that my kids can bathe together. Besides the fact that Farren will not let me take pictures of her and Keagan showering together, I AM able to take them of Keagan and Deakon. How fun! They just absolutely love the water and love bathing together!

This weekend we had the opportunity to go to Sophie's (Nathan and Betty's little girl) 1st birthday party! It was so much fun! This place was perfect for children from Deakons age up to 10 years! They had such a variety of things for the kids to do. Keagan actually cried when it was time to go. Farren and her two cousins, Heathers two boys, decided they didn't want to go to a 'baby' party, so they stayed at our house and played video games the whole time.

I can't believe that Sophie is already 1! Just makes me realize that Deakon's 1st birthday isn't far away! Were has my little guy gone?? He isn't even 9 months yet, and he is pulling up on everything and cruising around. He is trying to let go and walk already. He is so determined, he will crawl up on our couch and try to turn in the open and walk. As soon as he falls, he does it all over again. He is so DETERMINED, just like his mama!! I can't believe it though, he is doing things so much faster then my girls did. Anyway, even he enjoyed this place. So, good job Betty and Nathan on choosing a birthday place! We had so much fun. And happy birthday to little Sophie! She was so stinkin cute in her princess outfit!

Daddy's birthday this year fell on Easter Sunday. He turned the big 2-8!!!! Daddy's getting old.=) We went out to eat at Rockfish friday night, just the two of us, it was really nice. Then, when we got back to the house, there was a group of friends and family waiting for us as a suprise for Chris. We had alot of fun hanging out and got to see some old friends! Thank you to all of those who came. Saturday morning, we went and had breakfast, picked up the kiddos and headed home. Chris's friend, Ben, came over and we hung out outside for the majority of the day. Some of you may know, I wrecked Chris's bike on this day. He had taken me for a ride, and I wanted to go again. I used to have a bike of my own, so he told me to take it myself. Well, my bike was a 250, and his is a 750, MUCH BIGGER!!!! When I tried to turn the corner, I felt as if I was going to fall over because it was so heavy, so I continued going straight. Straight INTO my neighbors car that is. I think I broke a couple of ribs and have some scrapes and bruises. Far better then it could of been. So, I would like to say, soooooooo sorry for wrecking your bike on your birthday weekend Daddy!! Sunday, we had Easter, and then had a few drinks at the house to celebrate Chris's birthday. All in all, I think he had a great birthday. Oh, and he played with his new toy all weekend outside. Mommy got him a Traxxas Revo, and RC car....a very expensive one. =)

2 years, 3 months.....

My baby girl is getting so big too. =( I just love this picture and the "attitude" she has in it. I cannot believe another month has come and gone. We are well on our way to being 3, and she is proving it everyday. Keagan's vocabulary seems to double on a daily basis. With numbers, the alphabet, and speaking in sentences, it definitely makes me lose sight of her being a baby and moving to the toddler stage. Although I absolutely love it, it does make me a little sad. She is still going to potty on a daily basis, and wearing a pull up at night. She is going to be my little petite girl, she is wearing 18-24 months, and some 2T stuff. Most 2T stuff is a little too big. She is wearing some size 4 and some size 5 shoes. And she definitely sleeps through the night. She is a SLEEPER, she must have got this from her daddy. She will take a nap most afternoons, and then sleep for at least 12 -13 hours at night. If she skips her nap, she usually sleeps for about 14 hours at night. Chris actually had to go wake her up on Easter morning becuase he was tired of waiting for her to get up so we could get the day started. Silly Daddy. =) She is also very much a girlie girl, she loves dresses, and she loves hats. She has gone from HATING, and I mean HATING shoes, to absolutely loving one pair of crocs. To the point that she is going to bed in them because she will not let me take them off. The other day I made her take them off to take her bath, and as soon as she got out of the tub, she put her shoes on and then said I could dry her off. She will run around naked with just her shoes on. Its so funny, one extreme or the other with this kid I guess. =) She loves to help me with laundry, dishes, sweeping, mopping, any cleaning really. Except the vacuum, she is terrified of it. She still cares her blanket around and calls her "b" or her "baby". She loves loves loves choclate and her bubba. She knows that she gets a tee tee treat when she pottys. So, she tries to tell her daddy that she pottied for some choclate, when in fact she did not. She will even go as far as sitting on it first. She is by far the sweetest 2 year old I have ever seen. She loves to give me and bubba kisses all day long, at least 20 times a day. She will not go to bed until she has told her sissy and daddy goodnight and has given them kisses. At random times through out the day will she will grab my leg and kiss it or bubbas back, and tell him he is "so sweet". So cute!!

I can't wait to see what the next few months bring for us. I love you baby girl!

8 months...

Look o' look at my little guy. He is getting SOOOOO big! We are already at 8 months. We are closer to a year then we are to his birth. Which just seems so hard to imagine. It just seems to go by faster and faster. Boooo......=( Deakon is such a little busy body these days! I mean he is EVERYWHERE! He started doing a worm type crawl at 7 months and he has perfected this to a speeding crawl and can get anywhere he wants in a jif. He is pulling up to a standing position on his toys, Keagans potty, the couch, anything on the ground really. He loves his juice and holding his bottle, and he loves his food and feeding himself. Anything you have, he wants. We have slowly been giving him table foods that are soft and he loves them. He is eating 2-3 stage 2 foods a day, and has cereal in the morning. He is in size 2 diapers still, and wearing 6-9 month clothing. He does have a good size foot though, must take after his daddy. =) He is already wearing a size 3 shoe. Keagan is still in a 4, and can fit some 5's. He loves loves loves his big sister and watches and follows her all day. She likes to give him hugs and kisses and play chase with him. Its really cute. He is absolutely fascinated with Keagan's potty and as soon as you put him down, will make a v-line for it. Maybe he will be easy to potty train too. =) We have been able to pull some of Keagan's old toys out that he can play with now, and he is loving it. His favorite is still his bouncy jumper toy. We have started trying to use a sippy cup, and he just isn't to crazy about it yet. Hopefully soon though. Deakon STILL does not sleep through the night, but he is sleeping longer intervals of time. He is usually ready for bed no later than 8, and will wake to eat usually around 2, and then 6, and then is usually up for the day between 7 and 8. Hopefully, he will start sleeping through the night by the time he is 1.....I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Gosh, I guess its almost time for this momma to start thinking about his 1st birthday. Crazy...my baby, my last baby, is already growing up on me. TEAR...=(

Both of my babies were sick again over the week. I had to take Deakon to Care Now last Sunday because he was running fever, would NOT eat, and was just plain miserable. He just cried and cried no matter what we did. Poor baby had another ear infection, (I just had his rechecked 9 days before, how do these things hit so quickly?), and upper respiratory infection, and STREP throat!! I felt horrible for him, no wonder he didn't want to eat. The gave him a 3 day z pack, and he is on the mend. Although, we did have to go back to the doctor for some cough\congestion medicine. Poor thing. =( The next day, Monday, Keagan woke up running a 102 fever. I figured I better go ahead and get her to the doctor too. She too had an upper respiratory infection. She is still a little stuffy, but feeling much better as well. I don't remember the last time I went 2 weeks without going to the doctor for someone in my family. I just want 2 weeks of semi-health for my family and NO doctor appointments!! Is it really that much to ask???????

Deakons [Before\After]

I had a couple people ask me what exactly Deakon had surgery on his ear for, so I thought I would post some pictures of what we had removed. The doctor suggested that we have them removed before they had the ability to grow larger. Mommy likes to think of them as his little beauty marks, they kind of gave him his personality. I was a litte sad to see them go. They were after all a part of him. I actually almost walked out of the hospital the morning of surgery when the anesthesiologist advised of the "risks" that may come along with the anesthesia. One of those risks being death. Ummmm.......OK! I looked at Chris and said, "Is it really worth the risk?" And he smiled and reassured me that it would be fine, he was a "Stuart" and that he was built to handle these things. Ha! Thanks for the reassurance babe. Much appreciated. Anyways, surgery went well and he woke up like a champ and was ready to go. Anyway, he is doing wonderful since and heaing very nicely. =)

These were taken last weekend, when it was actually nice and "spring" like weather. Keagan absolutely loves to be outside, to play and explore. I love that the weather is slowly getting to be warm enought to spend our days outside, although it is usually snowing the following day. Damn Texas weather! Oh well, at least it was nice for one day. =)

Zoo! (Record Setting Day)

We managed to make it to the Zoo over spring break, on the ABSOLUTE busiest day EVER! Luckily, we got there shortly after it opened so my wait was not to terribly bad. However, my sister in law got there 30 minutes after me and had to park on the OTHER side of the colonial, and did not get in the park until almost 2 hours after we did. By that time, my 6 kids were ready to go. They had had enough elbows, people cutting in front of them, not being able see the animals becuase of the mass of people, not to mention trying to push a single stroller and a double stroller around in the madness. I'm just thankful we were able to see what we did before the "record" setting number set in. Guess we can say we were a part of setting a new record.

Mental Note: Do NOT go to the zoo on Half Price Wednesday, when it is Spring Break AND Saint Patricks Day. Triple Whammy......

Sweetest Girls ever!

This is what I woke up to the day we were to take my neice and nephew home. They spent the majority of spring break with us and we just LOVE having them with us. I'm so glad that Farren gets along with them so well. This note was from Farren and my niece, Saige. They were up until 3:30 in the morning working on this! How freakin sweet is that!! And "Bucky" is what they call my nephew, Austin. =)

Weight update....

I haven't updated on weight in a while, so I figured it was time. I am now down 32 pounds. Which I am very happy about, but still have more to lose. I am hoping to knock off another 9 pounds by Chris's birthday, April 4th. Hopefully I will be able to reach my goal!!

The more goals I meet the easier it is to stay motivated!!!

And congrats to my fellow blogger friend Brooke! She has been dieting as well, and hit the 30 pound mark! Woooooohooooo!!!!

This past weekend, we went to spend the weekend with Chris's brother and our sister in law. I love going to there house. Its almost like a mini vacation. They live out in the country where it is very peaceful and well....my phone doesn't work. =) Also, my niece and nephew are such a joy to be around. Chris needed to wire the electricity for a room that they added on to there house. So, any excuse we find we head out there and make a weekend out of it. And all of our kids absolutely love to go here! Keagan just loves here Uncle JD, and Farren loves to hang out with Austin and Saige. Thank you Uncle JD and Aunt Steph for having us over!!!

Baby D update...

Deakon had his surgery on his ear on thursday. We had to be at the hospital at 8:30, and surgery was scheduled for 10. We ran into Miss Vanessa on our way up, what a nice suprise! Deakon wasn't allowed to have any milk after 2:30, and he actually tolerated this pretty well. He fussed a couple of times throughout the morning and "attacked" his paci as if it were going to give him something out of the nipple. But, as long as we kept him occupied, he seemed ok. The surgery before us ran a little late, so they did take D back until about 11. They gave him a banana flavored gas mask to knock him out, hooked his iv up, and then were able to start surgery. After the surgery was done, we had to wait for him to wake up to be able to see him. He did really well! He woke up and sucked down 6 ounces of apple juice watered down. Poor baby was starving! We only had to wait about 20 minutes to be able to leave after that, because the nurse said he was doing so well and met all the criteria for leaving. Good job baby D! He got 7 little stitches, that are dissolvable, so we won't have to have them taken out. He ended up taking a really long nap after we left the hospital. He woke up and we were able to feed him some half-strength formula to make sure his tummy could tolerate it from the anesthesia. He did wonderfully and sucked down a second bottle at normal strength. Anyway, his stitches look really good and I am pleased with the job the surgeon did. We go back to see his plastic surgeon for a follow up on tuesday.

Friday, my poor baby had to go in to see his regular doctor for his 6 month shots!! Alot in two days I know! But, he was already behind and I didn't want to wait any longer. Plus, I asked both doctors before hand when I realized how close they were scheduled and they said it would be fine. Why were we so late? Well, he had an ear infection at 6 months, so they couldn't do them then. Then when we went back to have them done, ALL of the immunizations were lost in the snow storm. They lost electricity in the office, and the immunizations went without being refrigerated for too long. So, friday is when we were scheduled to go back. His legs were REALLY sore from these shots. He could not jump without crying, and screamed bloody murder any time I tried to massage his little legs. I felt so bad! But, tylenol and motrin seemed to help and he was back to normal saturday morning!!

My poor baby has been throught so much in the last few days! Hopefully he will get a break for a little while!

SIDE NOTE: Baby D is rocking on all fours and scooting around! I am just patiently waiting for him to start "real" crawling!

Penicillin Reaction

This is what happens to baby "D" when he has any sort of penicillin. Poor little guy, this is a couple of days in, so it actually looks better. We are several days out now and we are pretty much back to normal. On a better note, his ears looked good, which is what he was on the medicine for in the first place. "D" has surgery on thursday at Cooks. I'm a little nervous, but I am certain everything will go smoothly. Friday we go back to double check the ear infection didn't come back since he is off the meds, and to get shots, since he has been sick since he was suppose to have them. We have a pretty busy week!!!

Oh how the time goes by so quickly............

It seems like just yesterday Keagan was turning 2, and now, here it is, 2 more months later. =( Boo. She has in the last month or so REALLy began to increase her vocabulary! She is liking counting, and her favorite number is 2 ofcourse!! She likes to play hide and seek with her toys! Her favorite character is still Mickey and Minnie Mouse. She is still wearing panties throughout the day. She absolutely loves to wear dresses and skirts, and HATES to wear pants of any sort. I think because they are harder to get off when she needs to go to the restroom. We are still working on keeping shoes on her. She will now wear them but once we are inside or in the car, she immediately takes them off. She is pushing right at 24 pounds, and is 34 inches tall. Almost 3 feet....Wooooo!!!! She is very active and always on the run!! Lately, she is not wanting to take naps. If she skips her nap, she usually falls asleep by 8 or 8:30 and isn't up till about 9 or 9:30 in the morning. We are working on her big girl bed, and as long as all 7 mickey's and minnie's are there, she is usually content, although mommy does have to lay there right now until she falls asleep. Whenever I ask her if she is ready for night night, she tells me "no" and runs and jumps into our bed, gets under the cover, and props up on the pillows!! So cute!!! Also, we got a new fish aquarium and she could sit all day and point to the "fishies". She absolutely loves them!! Here mema has her spoiled and she loves to have choclate milk and choclate doughnuts on the weekend. So, I thought I would take a few pics of her enjoying her "choclate delights" while watching her fave, Mickey Mouse!!

This is what tends to happen when our kids get in the jumpy thing or when Keagan thinks its a good idea to get in bubba's swing. We have actually done away with this this week because Keagan gets in it and almost flips clear around the top she gets going so fast. So, we decided it was time to move it out of sight. =)

7 months....

For his 7 month birthday, my poor little man got himself his first ear infection. Boo. =) He started running fever on Wednesday of last week. I wasn't sure if it was from his teeth or something else. But Thursday, he started pulling on his little ear and I noticed some fluid drainage. So, I figured we better get into the doctor before the weekend. We headed to see Dr. B and she said there was alot of fluid built up behind his little ear drum. She gave us an antibiotic to clear it up. And we are using tylenol for the fever. His fever seemed to break this weekend, but he is having a weird reaction from the medicine. He has a little rash on his face, chest, and back. Poor thing. =( Apparently, its a normal side effect. We go back in on Tuesday for a recheck, and for his 6 month shots since he has been under the weather. Friday we have a pre-op appointment for surgery, and then on the 11th we will be headed to Cooks for his surgery. So, I am hoping and praying that everything goes well! We have had a pretty eventful month and the following month sounds to be the same!

7 month stats from our last appointment were:

Height: 17 1/4 inches

Weight: 16 pounds 8 ounces

Head: 14 centimeters

Baby D is getting so big! He's not that far behind his sissy! I will not be suprised if he passes her up eventually!

He is sitting up really well, and trying to get up on all fours. He loves to bounce either in his bouncy chair or on your knee. He is starting to sleep better at night. Hopefully, I will be able to put them in the same room soon. He is eating a fruit for lunch and a veggie\cereal for dinner. And he usually has a few snacks throughout the day. He is full of smiles and so much fun to be around!! Thank you for blessing me with beautiful joyful babies!!!!

We have a pretty busy weekend planned this weekend. Last night was movie night and we watched 3 movies, I absolutely love fridays like this. Just sitting curled up on the couch with my family and watching a good flick, and even some popcorn when I'm lucky. =) Today, however, I am going garage saling for a bit, to the mall, and then I need to meet granny in weatherford to drop of the kiddos with her, because we are going to MONSTERJAM tonight!!! I am so excited about going to this. For one, its in the new stadium, so we will get to check that out. For two, I've always wanted to go to one of these. I have seen the commercials on tv for years, just haven't yet had the opportunity of going. Hopefully, it will be a good show! We have a couple friends and Farren are going with us. I'm soooo glad she is getting old enough to be able to do fun things like this with us. Sunday, I have my Erin's baby shower, assuming that she does have baby Rhett before then! I have dibs she will have him during the shower. =) But hopefully not. Anyway, it should be interesting weekend!

Gummy Smiles

Well, it looks like our gummy smiles are coming to a quick end. I have noticed that Deakon's gums have been bothering him for the last couple of weeks and were knotted up on the bottom. On Friday BOTH of his two bottom teeth broke through!!! Two teeth at one time, poor baby!! He has actually been a really good sport about it, he justs wants something to chew on. I can't believe my gummy smiles are almost gone FOREVER!!!!

UPDATE: My poor little guy got his top right tooth today! Hes been a champ! I can't believe he cut this many teeth at once!!

Weight loss update....

Well, thanks to another stomach bug, I am still doing good with my weight loss. I got another 24 hours stomach bug yesterday and lost 2 more pounds from it. This one was much worse. I also ran a 103 fever with this one. I literally felt like I was dying. My eyelids, tounge, and ears all felt like they were on fire. Yuck!! Anyways, I weighed myself this morning and I have now lost 24 pounds!!! Woohoo!! Go me! Although I still want to lose more, I am very happy about this!!

Farren's Last Game

Well, I can't really say they went out with a bang, because they got their booty's beat...BAD. But, at least they had fun. =) This was actually there second to last game, and I am sooooooo glad I took a few pictures. The actual last game ended up being cancelled due to the snow weather. And they do not plan on making it up. So, this week we have moved onto track and field tryouts. I am very anxious to see how this goes. This is probaly the least favorite thing Farren was interested in. Hopefully, once she gets involved in it, she will enjoy as much as her MaMa did. I am excited though, we filled out schedules for next year and she is going to do athletics and gymnasitcs! Maybe I will get my cheerleader after all. =)

Plastic Surgeon

We had our appointment with the plastic surgeon yesterday for Deakon. As some of you know, he was born with two small skintags by his right ear. Not very noticeable, and they do not bother me. However, this was why we had to have the test ran on his kidneys. Apparently, if there they ears and kidneys form at the same time, and if there is some of ~~abnormality~~ beauty mark on the ears, there tends to be something going on with the kidneys too. Thank goodness everything came back fine. Now, we are told we need to have the skin tags removed before one. Before they have the ability to grow. So, hence the plastic surgeon. It sounds like it will be a small procedure, but he does have to have it done at Cooks, and he will have to be put under. Makes me a little nervous. I don't like having any sort of surgery with how young he is. Anyway, they are going to call us next week to let us know when the surgery is set up and scheduled at the hospital. So, we should be going in in the next month or so. Wish my sweet baby luck on his first and hopefully ONLY surgery ever!!!

25 months old....

This was our first month, post 2 that is. And it was so much fun! Well, besides being sick that is. Which I think we are FINALLY over with after about 2 rounds of it. Thank goodness! I still can't believe Keagan is already 2. We are still going strong with pottying. She wears panties throughout the day and a nightime pull up at night, just in case. She is doing very well, and has in the last week decided that she wants to help...she has been trying to empty the potty for me. She went the other day and I was cooking lunch and had no idea. She came into the kitchen telling me "Alright! Alright!". So I ventured in the living room to see what she did and there was a trail of tee tee from her potty all the way to the toilet. It was a good try though. =) I have helped her a couple of times and showed her how to carry it, and she can now carry all the way without spilling. She has also become rather clean and aware of when she needs to be wiped. She doesn't like to have anything on her face or hands, she will bring me the wipe case to get a wipe and clean it off. Also, after she pottys, she will bring it to me to clean her. Good girl! Lately, we have noticed that she is really shy around people. She will talk alot around us and and bedtime, but we hardly utter a peep when someone is around. Not sure what is up with that. Anywho, this is such a fun age, I just wish they could stay here all the time!

This last month has brought alot of new developments for Deakon. He seems to have grown so much in just the last month. He is getting to that stage where he transitions to a baby that sits up and scoots and eats more and plays alot more! He is getting to the really fun stage! He is eating fruits, vegetables, and cereal on a regular basis now. He is wearing some 3-6 months clothing and some 6-9 months stuff. He is wearing a size 2 diaper. And my favorite, he is sitting up for periods of time on his own. He is getting bigger everyday, and I have a feeling he is eventually going to pass his sister up. He is only 9 pounds behind her right now. =)- I love love love this stage though, and can't wait to see what the next month brings.

Home sweet home....

We are finally home from Vegas. It was SOOOOO much fun! We got home Monday evening around 6 pm. But had company all night and until 2 the next day. Then I watched 5 kids.....YES 5.....on tuesday. So, this is this first chance I've had to get on here. I have yet to upload pictures. I did get us unpacked today and almost all of the laundry done. But we are still recovering and getting used to being home. Our trip was going wonderfully until Sunday morning when we started getting calls on our cells and our room phone that my mom was trying to get ahold of us. Apparently, Keagan had been up running fever and fussing all night and they ended up taking her to the minor ER, and the poor thing had a double ear infection. Poor baby. My mom said she kept picking up the phone and going to the door saying "MaMa". I felt so bad! Luckily, we were nearing the end our trip, and I was ready to get home by that point. I was really missing my babies. Anywho, she is doing much much better! I will get some pics uploaded tomorrow. Hope everyone is having a great week thus far!!!

I have everything packed and ready to go. Just waiting for Chris to get home and for the kids to get up from there naps. Then we are off to drop the kids off at grandma's and heading to the airport. I am so excited and nervous!! I cannot wait for our weekend! Plus, I'm sure my mom and Chris's mom will enjoy some quality time with their grandkids. Since their mommy is kind of a baby hog. =)

Vegas bound....

Yes, you read that right....we are going to Las Vegas baby!! We are leaving this friday and coming back on monday. We were actually planning on going for Chris's birthday, but found a deal we couldn't pass up for this weekend!! I'm am very excited, but a little nervous too. I am worried about leaving my kids for that long. The little ones have NEVER been without their momma for that long. I didn't even let Keagan stay the night anywhere until she was 17 months old and I got put in the hospital with Deakon. =) So, Deakon being only 6 months old, this momma is a little nervous. I know THEY will be fine, its ME that I'm worried about. I'm hoping I will be able to enjoy this little getaway with my hubby and not miss all 3 of my babies too much. =)

As for anything else going on with us....Keagan got a stomach virus Wednesday night and woke me at 12:30 to a crib full of vomit. I caught it and woke up friday morning vomitting. It was by far the worst stomach virus EVER! My whole body hurt, and I just felt sick to my stomach every second of the day. Luckily, it only lasted about 24-48 hours. Chris woke up with it on Saturday morning. And saturday night, Farren came down with it. Poor guys, I felt so bad for everyone. Needless to say, I have now lost 17 pounds! Woohoo!! And as of this morning, both Keagan and Deakon are still snotty and have a cough. What is up? We have been to the doctor 4 times in the last month for this and they keep telling me it will go away within 7-10 days and to continue cough\congestion medicine. Its NOT WORKING!!! I feel so bad for them, I can hear them wake themselves in the middle of the night from coughing. Hopefully, we will all be well soon! Hope everyone is having a great week!

Deakon woke up last Saturday extremely snotty and with a small cough, so come Monday morning we were off to the doctor office. The doctor told us that he had an upper respiratory infection, but since he was under 6 months (by 2 weeks), we could not give him anything and it would have to pass on its own. She did give me some ear drops for him because she said his little ear was red, not infected, just irritated. We had our follow up appointment today and little man just isn't getting any better. He did however gain 6 ounces since last week and grow 1/2 inch......or maybe someone measured wrong. =) She finally decided to give him some medicine for his cough and congestion. The poor thing is hacking up flem and choking on it while he is sleeping....so SCARY! So, hopefully, we will be on the road to recovery. Why does it seem like as soon as you get one kid better, the next one gets sick????

Well, I figured since I am probably done having kids.....probably....ha ha! Just kidding...we are done. Anyway, I figure its time to lose the baby weight and the happy marriage weight. =) Now seems like the perfect time. Its the beginning of a new year, I can no longer breastfeed, and well, I'm just tired of carrying it around. =) I started a new diet last tuesday and as of today, I have lost 13 pounds. Not to shabby. Hopefully, by summer, I will have shed all the weight I want to . Not that I will ever be able to wear a bikini again, thanks to c sections and stretchmarks. =) Soooooooooo...here is to staying motivated! And to anyone out there trying to shed some baby weight, or just trying to shed weight. Good luck, I'm right there with you!!!

2 year check up....

Since Keagan was sick on her actual birthday and on the day she was scheduled for her 2 year check up. We had to reschedule to have it done today. Dr. Baker said she looked wonderful and was doing very well. She is a bit on the smaller side for her age, but nothing to worry because she IS growing. She weighed in at 24 pounds, and 33 inches in the height department. Her head was 39 centimeters!! =) One thing I did find odd though, they asked what our zip code was and when I told her, she said our area was on some list for high lead exposure???? Apparently there have been some cases for lead exposure in certain areas, and because of it, they are testing children in those areas. So, Keagan didn't get any shots but she did get a small finger prick, which she thought was hilarious, and had to give blood, which she thought was "pretty!" She was not upset one bit, I couldn't believe it. And we don't have to go back for her for a year!!! Woohoo!!!!!

2 years old?????

Where did the time go for my little fairy? Keagans birthday is always hard because it follows right after christmas. Hard to plan between christmas and new years, hard to find presents she didn't get a christmas, and hard to differentiate it from christmas. Luckily, mommy has a december birthday, and my mother did an excellent job of all those things, so I have a little insight. =) My poor baby actually got sick on christmas day, and was not up for much of anything for about 5-6 days. I ended up taking her to the doctor ON her actual birthday....poor baby. What a horrible way to spend your birthday. She had a viral infection and basically we were told it would run its course in 7-10 days. She didn't want to open presents, eat, drink, move, watch tv, dance, play with bubba.....nothing. I have never seen a sickness take that kind of toll on her. It was horrible. So, needless to say, here actual birthday wasn't much of a birthday at all. Luckily, she was feeling much much better by her party the following weekend. We had a huge Tinkerbell party! Some of the little girls dressed up like fairies! It was so much fun! It just reminds me why I love having little girls all over again. We had a huge turnout and lots and lots of presents! Thank you everyone who showed up and for all the gifts! Keagan was definitely blessed in that department. And she absolutely loved opening each and every one! Between birthday and christmas, mommy is still trying to find room for everything. I already need a bigger house. =) After presents we ate some pizza, and some yummy cake!! And ofcourse watched the cowboys game, alot of our guests came dressed and prepared.

Where does the time go????

He is movin and a shakin'! We are rolling from front to back and back to front now. He can sit unassisted for a few seconds at a time. And he can stand up holding on to the couch. He is already trying to get up on all fours and has succeded in doing so several times. He can pull him himself with his arms. Its so crazy how different each of your kids are. Buy my little boy seems like he is way stronger then any of my girls where at this age. Deakon is already cutting teeth too, and we are using orajel on a regular basis. He loves his jumper toy and could probably stay in it all day if we let him. We have started different stage 1 foods with him and he loves loves pears and sweet potatoes so far! And he hates peaches and squash. He is wearing size 2 diapers and 3-6 months clothing. He is growing like a weed and laughing out loud all the time! It is the cutest thing! I just love love love the age he is at right now.

This is when they really start to get fun. =)

I hope that everyone had as wonderful of a christmas as we did! We were certain very very blessed this year. We had four different christmas's all together, and I am STILL organizing and getting things put up and pulling out the old. I cannot believe how much stuff we got this year. We have only been in our house for a year, but we have definitely outgrown it. I told Chris its almost time for a new one. =) The weekend before, we celebrated with Chris's family at the farm and then my dads side of the family on sunday. Christmas eve we spent at my grandmas, and then my mom, stepdad, and sister all stayed the night with us that evening. We played Mad Gab for hours, made cookies, cupckaes, and decorated them all. We played in the snow and woke up to a white christmas! Christmas night, while I cleaned and we played some new games on our Wii, Farren went to celebrate with her dads family. What a wonderful week!!

Have the sweetest husband, sister, and best friend in the world! My 29th (ouch) birthday was on December 15th...and it was definitely one of the best birthdays ever. I woke up early the saturday before to go to farrens basketball tournament, which they lost, and then headed home after. Upon getting home, my husband advised me that pop pop and granny would be over shortly to pick up the babies and i was to go get my hair cut and colored! Sweet! I was well over due. So after the babies were picked up, thats exactly what i did. And I absolutely love the way it turned out! After getting home from my hair, I found an absolutely spotless house....thanks hubby....pretty much the best bday gift you can give a stay at home mom..and was instructed to get ready for the night and that jess would be there to pick me up at 4. We went to get our nails and toes done! And ohhhhh....it was UH- mazing! Exactly what i needed. Then we headed to chilis for a bite to eat and a drink. Jess paid for our day at the nail salon and our dinner. Thanks honey! After dinner we headed up to eagles nest for a couple drinks and to meet the hubby and find out what we were doing for the night. Chris and my cousin met us and advised me we were going out to dallas for my birthday! We left the nest and headed to our house to get in one car. When we arrived at our house there was about 60 of our closest friends and family waiting to greet me! A suprise party....how fun! And somehow I had no idea. My husband is the worst at secrets, so I was shocked! They had a keg, trash can punch, jello shots, and several different bottles of liquor. Oh I just knew it was going to be a good night and it most certainly was! I had the best time ever! Thank you so much Chris, Jess, Audra, and to everyone who came and celebrated with us!

Why does it always seem like once you get over one hurdle, there is another one fast approaching????

The Good-Well, Deakon went for his test last week, and we got results back saying that he is PERFECT! Yes, that is correct, perfect. Thank the lord there is nothing wrong with his little kidneys! I having been counting my blessings over and over that he is ok. I can't even imagine how those poor mothers feel when they get bad news about there little. I just know what a wreck I and the rest of my family was while waiting for this. So, thank you for all of you who were praying for us and Little D.

The Bad-Some of you may know that I hurt my knee almost 6 weeks ago. Well, I waited and waited and thought that if I waited long enough, it would just....well....go away. I assumed it was just a sprain or a twist or something along those lines. Well, 6 weeks later, I still:
-cannot straighten my leg out completely
-bend my leg back
-Cannot walk like a normal person
-Cannot sleep because it just throbs
-And cannot lift my leg over the bathtub! (I have to sit down and slide it over)

Anyway, my husband finally convinced me that I needed to go to the doctor. So, I did. And they then sent me to go have an MRI done on my knee to check the ligaments, tendons, meniscus, and muscle tissue. My doctor called today with my results and they were not good. I have three different issues. One, my ACL, or Anterior Cruciate Ligament, has a complete disruption...in other words, its completely tore. Two, I have a large C shaped tear in the anterior horn of my meniscus. And Three, I have a small tear in my LCL, or Latteral Collateral Ligament. My two remaining ligaments are pulled and swollen. So, needless to say, I got my answer why my knee isn't getting any better. I now have to go see a orthopedic doctor to consult with him on surgery to have everything repaired. Not sure how quickly this is going to be done though, we have no insurance. Damn. This is going to be an expensive injury.

4 Months...

Already???? Really????

I can't believe my little guy is already 4 months old. Where does the time go? Well with two little ones at home, and I am now watching Jess's little one....the time goes fast!!! Deakon is doing better these days. We are back to taking Prevacid and Zantac once a day, 3 ounces of prune juice in the morning every day, and on Alimentum forumla. It really does seem to help. So, sadly but true, momma isn't breastfeeding anymore. Its been over 3 weeks and I am finally coming to terms with it and slowly cutting out pumping to eventually dry up my milk. Guess it just wasn't in the cards for us this time to do it for a year. At least we got 4 months worth. =) We have also started cereal and he is sleeping a little bit better at night. Not all night but better than every two hours. We had his 4 month check and the little toot is 13 pounds 2 ounces, and 241/4 inches long. He is growing wonderfully. He was suppose to have 4 shots combined into 2, but they were out of the combo shot, so he got 3 and needs to get the other at his next appt. Poor baby. He did pretty good though, cried for a second and then was fine when I picked him up. To the NEW bad part.....we have to go for a renal ultrasound tomorrow at Cooks. Deakon was born with 2 small skin tags on his ears. And well, apparently when the baby is forming, the ears and kidneys form at the same time. So, the doctor advised alot of times when there is an abnormality with the ears, there normally is with the kidneys too. So, hence the renal ultrasound. I am hoping a praying that this isn't the case for us and that everything with him is just fine. If you get a second, please say a quick little prayer for my guy. Although its a minor procedure, they do have put a catheder in him. Poor thing. =(

Keagan update....

What a little stinker!! She is doing so well. We are fully in panties now during the day and have been for a couple of weeks. She really has amazed me. She has only had 1 accident in the last 4 days. And well that was mommys fault. I was feeding Deakon and she couldn't get her panties off in time and I couldn't get him down fast enough to help her. Sorry stinker. I am so very proud of her though. I cannot, repeat CANNOT, believe she is about to 2 years old. I remember being in the hospital with her like it was just yesterday. She is definitely sponging up alot of stuff right now. She has seen us play Mario Kart on the Wii and loves to pretend drive with the wheels. She will bring me one, daddy one, and sister one, and we all have to pretend drive with her...too cute!! She is picking up on alot of new words and putting them together well. Some of it still sounds jibberish, but I can make it out. She is such a little angel and still very much in love with her 'Bubba' and her 'Sissy'. She just kisses him 60 times a day and says "so sweet" while doing it! I had to use the restroom the other day, and when I walked back in she had got his bottle and was feeding to him! Shes so smart! Mommy loves you angel baby!!

Lots going on....

We have had so much going on STILL...I am fighting to find the time for anything at this point. My little guy is having such a rough time. =( We started a new lactose free formula to see if it would help him. We used it for a week and to no avail, it did not. The second week was a lactose free and milk free formula, which did not help either. So, now we have moved on to a new formula, a very pricey formula, that is a hypoallergenic formula for babies with allergies and protein sensitivity. Its suppose to help with Colic also. Which I am convinced he has. There is a period in the morning, afternoon, and night where he is just unconsolable and arches his back constantly like he is in pain. Poor baby, nothing seems to help. I'm am keeping my fingers crossed that this one will do the trick. Why can't I just breastfeed my baby??? Isn't is suppose to be that easy?? He is also having problems going to the bathroom on a regular basis, so he gets prune juice twice a day. And he is still taking the Zantac and Prevacid for his reflux. I just CANNOT wait for him to outgrow this stage. I feel so horrible for him. Because of everything, he has been getting up every two hours at night, which makes for a long night for momma. Anyways, I do have so pictures to put up. But wanted to update on Deakon.

On the other hand, Keagan is doing amazing. She hasn't worn diapers during the day for about a week now. We are only wearing them when we go out for extended periods in public and at night time. She has got this potty training down for tee tee'ing. She is doing the other, but it SCARES the crap out of her everytime!! Its kind of funny! She has managed to only have a few accidents, which is expected. But I am so proud of how well she has done! I can't believe in only a month she is going to be 2! It just is sooooo hard to believe!

Farren is doing great as well! She got her report card and got all A's and B's! She had a great 6 weeks. Also, she made the basketball team!! Go Farren! And she should be finding out next week sometime which team she is on. She is super excited though, this is what she has been looking forward to all year! I am so excited about going to watch her play basketball in the same gym that I did at that age....how cool is that???

Just a couple pictures of my two little guys over the last couple of weeks. A few random ones that I have just snapped here and there. They are doing pretty good. Sadly, I have had to stop breastfeeding, Deakon has a milk allergy. We tried a lactose free based formula and it seemed to help a little but he was still having some problems. So, we tried a lactose free and a milk free based formula, soy formula, and it seems to be helping alot more. Its just the hardest thing in the world to do. I only got to feed him for 4 months. The doctor said he will outgrow it, so I am contemplating pumping until he does. Its just the hardest thing to deal with emotionally. It makes you feel like you have done something wrong or failed in some way. I know I haven't, but it feels like it. =( Some good news, Farren made the basketball team!! Woot woot, Go Farren! We are soooooo very proud of her, and she is soooooo very excited!!! I can't wait to watch her play!! We are doing pretty good on the homefront, just still alot going on.

What????? 22 months??? You know what that means....time to start planning a birthday party!! I absolutely CANNOT believe my little girl is going to be 2 years old already! It make me so sad but happy at the same time! She is at such a good age, I wish we could just freeze time. We are really working on the potty, and she is going a good 3 -4 times a day. Yay Keagan!! She is talking a storm too! She is too funny! Still loves her brother and giving him kisses and still loves her mickey!! She loves giving kisses good night and is taking naps in her big girl bed. We are slowly working on sleeping in her big girl bed so that bubba can have the crib. 3 months?!?!?!?!? Where has my baby gone? Deakon is already a quarter of a year old...ha! Our little man is doing awesome! His spitting up has pretty much subsided with medicine and a paci. =) And he seems to be a much happier baby. He is cooing, a-gooing, and smiling up a storm. He loves his bumbo seat and his bouncer that rocks. He loves loves loves to be in motion and hates hates hates to be on his back. He is scooting!! We put him on the couch and he will scoot from one cushion to the next. Whoa! No more leaving this little guy laying around. He is a little porker...definitely eats more then my little girls did. We have started to give him a bottle at night time with a little cereal because he just doesn't seem like hes getting full. Boo....it makes me sad that I can't make enough. I am trying to pump to see if my supply will increase for him. It doesn't help the good ol' milk supply that I have been REALLY stressed for the last two weeks. He is still getting up two to three times a night. I keep telling myself only a few more months...its a small price to pay in the 100 years of life it will give him. =) Anyways, we are going next week to get his pics taken and I can't wait. My little guy is getting so big so fast. Ohhhh, and I personally think this little man looks just like his daddy!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful halloween. We had a good time trick or treating this year with Keagan. She really is starting to enjoy stuff like that. We would walk her up to a house and she would turn and run because she thought they were going to take her pumpkin full of candy!! Once she figured out they were GIVING her candy, she would try to to go back to the same house for a second handout! My sister came and she was attached to her the whole time....didn't want anyone else holding her, walking her, or carrying her pumpkin. So, needless to say my sisters arms got a great workout! Thanks Auntie!! Also, my sister was able to bring her friends daughter, Hannah, and she was able to trick or treat with Farren. They had so much fun running around door to door!! Deakon was a little skeleton thanks to his Aunt Stephie...and bad mommy (spank me on the hand) didn't get any pics of him because he was snoozin the whole time!! We had a great time, hope everyone else did too!

My little guy is already almost 3 months old??? Where has the time even gone....gosh. He is getting bigger every day. We broke out the bumbo and he absolutely loves it. He loves to be in an upright position, so this allows that with mommy or daddy having to stand him up all the time. He loves standing on our bellies and just being up and able to see everything. We are getting lots of cooing and talking these days, and lots and lots of smiles! He has also started blowing bubbles! One of my favorite parts! For some reason, the last 3 nights, he is getting up every 2-3 hours, mommy can't wait for that to be over with! We may have to try some cereal soon!! He is such a little pleasure, we are so thankful to have him!

Bad mommy, I missed 10 weeks. I've have just been so damn busy. Seriously. But on to 11 weeks we go. I can't believe Deakon is almost 3 months old. It is really going by so fast. He is such a little angel and growing so fast. We are trying to go through two outfits a day because we have so many clothes that he has not yet worn and needs to before he grows out of them. He is starting to coo this week along with lots and lots of smiles. He really loves looking and smiling at his daddy. And loves getting his kisses from his sister. He has a little cough this week, so we are trying to get rid of that. Poor baby. =( But other than that, he is flourishing! Not to mention he is such a little cutie!!!

Since my poor babies have been sick, I thought I would give them a treat to lift their spirits! And whats better then some ice cream from the ice cream truck! I love that there is an ice cream truck that comes to our neighborhood! It brings back memories for me when I was little and my mom would let me and my sister get ice cream from the ice cream truck! I got Keagan a "Dora the Explorer" popsicle...they were out of Spongebob, and Farren a "Ninja Turtles" popsicle! They both loved them and it was alot cheaper then I thought it would be!!

Keagan Jade is 21 months...

This is past being due, but I wanted to get it up here. We have been so busy with everyone being sick, I'm am very behind. Keagan is already 21 months though!! Can you believe it?!?!?!?!? Where has the time gone??? I find it hard to believe that she will 2 years old in just a short time. Crazy Crazy. Anyway, she has been wonderful. She is like a little sponge right now, repeating lots of what we say. She has started putting words together and loves peek a boo. She says "Where are you?" And then "There you are!" It is the cutest thing ever. If you ask her what a duck said, she says "Quack, quack, quack!" And does a little dance while doing it. She has conquered getting in and out of the bathtub and will not have any help from anyone. She is very independent and DEMANDS to do things on her own. She absolutely refuses to wear shoes. We are making progress though, she will now let me at least try them on her. Just won't keep them on. She knows how to take her diaper off, thus, we have really been pushing the potty. She is doing really well, and loves getting stickers for going tee tee. She has worn panties a few times, and has lasted up to 3 hours without having an accident!! We are keeping her fingers crossed the continue to make progress. She is taking naps in her big girl bed and has slept in it a number times at night, but still likes the comfort of the crib. Again, progress. She still loves her bubba, and kisses him 20 times a day. She has figured out how to climb up into his bassinett and lay down in it by herself!! And she loves to get in or play with anything that is suppose to be for him. She has started eating at the table with us, no more high chair, and she absolutely loves it! I took her in last week when she was sick and she is 32 inches tall and 22 1/2 pounds. And my favorite new thing that she is doing......

FUNNY!!!!

It is the funniest thing in the world!!! She will look at you and start giggling and wait for you to laugh!!

Anyways, she has been such a little joy! We love you baby! Here are a couple of pics of her and her tricks.....she is into everything and constantly doing something to make us laugh!!
